With a passion for helping individuals improve their speech and language abilities, they work tirelessly to ensure that each client can communicate effectively and confidently. Their expertise provides comprehensive support tailored to individual needs.
Occupational Therapist (OT)
Specializing in Pediatric Occupational Therapy
Our OTs specialize in pediatric occupational therapy, focusing on improving fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities for children with developmental delays or disabilities. Their innovative and child-friendly approach ensures that therapy sessions are both effective and enjoyable, helping children achieve greater independence and success in their daily lives.
Dr. Destinee Rhodes, OTD, OTR/L is the new Director of our Occupational Therapy Department and our onsite O.T.! She comes to us with twenty years experience working with children, 4 years of specialization in Autism, a doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy and an undergraduate degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders with a focus in Speech Language Pathology. Some of her knowledge includes Augmentative and Alternative Communication Devices and Dyslexia recognition, understanding, and remediation. She is excited be welcomed as an addition to the team which helps provide support and guidance to bridge the gap between clients, caregivers, and the community as a whole to increase participation, independence and connection (PIC).
